2011 MV Augusta F4CC

When it comes to sportbikes and the must have item, I don’t think anyone would argue about the MV Augusta F4CC being the blink of the track, errr ….. road! However, you’ll need some deep pockets to insure, errr …….. purchase this one.

The MV Augusta F4CC is without question at the top of the hill, but is it the one to ride. Kinda. As I carefully scan the MV Augusta USA Website for any tell-tale signs of a price-break, errr …… 2011 listing for the F4CC, I get the distinct feeling that they may have one or two left over in the closet from last years run.

2011 Honda CBR1000RR

As I sit down to write this post, there’s about a foot of fresh snow on the ground and that means that it’s time to think about trading-up and getting out on the road for a new season.

I thought I would take this time in front of the fireplace to give a write-up on the new “Fireblade” for 2011.

The Advantge Of The Riceburner !

I thought I would start the addition of the first new content in well over a year here at Superbikes Extreme.com with a post on the advantage of the riceburner. As sportbikes have evolved, the consumer now has the choice of the economic or the exotic and anything in between.

However, unless you have deep pockets (it’s the first thing I think about. Dropping a sportbike, even in your driveway can be an expensive experience) if you are like most superbike wannabes than you are looking at Japan for an answer.

Choosing A Superbike – Which One Is Right ?

Are you stuck in choosing a superbike? Are you wondering which bike to go with? Don’t feel timid about it; there are many superbikes to choose from and many different sizes to go with. In this article, we’ll talk about the different bikes available and which ones you should go with.
First of all, you need to determine what type of biker you are. If you are inexperienced, or if this is a first bike, then you will want to go with a more “Entry level” bike to start off with. You don’t want to get something that is going to be too much for you before you master your skills at driving the bike. Learn the ropes before you pursue some type of monster.
If you have a lot of skills in biking, then you will be all right going with something a little bit more powerful, such as a Hayabusa. These types of bikes are more for experiences bikers who know what they are doing and are able to handle the power that is given to them at the hands of these bikes.
These types of bikes are more for tricking out and whatnot. I would not advise trying to do a lot of tricks if you are new to biking. Learn the ropes in choosing a superbike; learn about the bike, and get used to the style of biking before you try out a trick. You will want to upgrade to a better bike, like a Hayabusa, or a Ninja before you tackle anything crazy as far as tricks go.

Are You Into Superbike Racing ?

Many kids today own super powerful motorcycles called superbikes.  There are some incredibly wicked bikes available straight from the showroom floor that will clear 200mph.  Superbike racing, often termed “illegals”, is a very exciting sport that many people love to watch. Street racing offers motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to race their motorcycle at breath taking speeds against the best in the sport. Those who have proven to be among the best are able to secure sponsors to help cover the cost of their racing activities. While some of the biggest payouts are in motorcycle street racing, this is very illegal.

Drag racing involves racing at extremely high speeds for a short distance on straight pavement. The distance is generally either a quarter mile or a half mile. There are two types of drag racing for motorcycles. The first is called bracket racing. This involves time trials and then attempting to get as close to your dial in time without breaking out. This type of racing is more about being consistence than racing other competitors. In heads up drag racing, the competitor’s race against each other and the first one to reach the finish line wins.

Motorcycle street racing is illegal, but a very popular past time for many in California and Florida. There is a great deal of money to be made in illegal street racing so there are always plenty of participants. There are also spectators who enjoy the thrill of this type of racing. While police work hard to prevent such racing from taking place it is still taking place. Strict penalties are being put into place as a deterrent for those who continue to participate.

Even though racing superbikes is an extreme rush, it is a sport many people love to participate it. There are many spectators who enjoy the fast pace and action taking place throughout the races as well. Some people participate in motorcycle racing as a hobby or for entertainment. For others, it is a way of life and of income.  There are many illegal races going on where riders bet hundreds or even thousands of dollars on one single race.  There are some races where riders have been known to lose their motorcycle pinkslips just for losing a race.

For the most part, owning a superbike is extremely fun, however, it is also extremely dangerous.  If you own a superbike, you should wear protective gear and not participate in illegal racing.

This is a good bike for people who are looking to gain some experience with crotch rockets before they get something crazy like the Ninja. The FZ6R isn’t anything to joke about either, it looks mean, and sexy, and you will look good riding on it too. Be ready for an awesome experience with your new bike when you get this guy, and get ready to dive into the awesome world of high-speed crotch rockets. Hopefully, you will not have bad luck with the law as you get used to the new bike. You will have to be a bit careful on the speed at first until you get a good feel of it.

Best Superbikes – Which One Is The Best

When it comes to the best superbikes, it may be difficult to say which ones (or one) is the “best” one, because many people will base their decision of which is the best on their own characteristics. For example, if I were to say to you, “Well, the Kawasaki Ninja is the best superbike because it is the fastest bike in the world.” You would have to take that with a small grain of salt, because my opinion would be heavily biased based off of the fact that I love speed bikes.
There are a lot of considerations to be made when wondering what the best superbikes are, because there are many different things that contribute to that claim. One person may say that the best ones are the fastest ones, while another person would say that the best ones are solely decided by the brand of the bike.
I personally think the best superbike is the one that you feel you want the most. That might sound like a bogus statement, but it’s really true. If you get the bike that you really want, then I think that in your heart you are going to believe that it is the best bike.
When it comes to the best superbikes, this is really the way to determine the best ones. I think at a small standard, the best bikes would be the ones that have a lot of speed, power, and durability. Those are 3 key factors in determining what the best bike is to get.

Get On A Rocket! Kawasaki Ninja

I have a question for you; can you handle the power of the Kawasaki Ninja? It is arguably one of the fastest and most popular bikes in the world today, and may be a good choice for your next bike. Why would you choose a Ninja though, and how would you know if it’s the right one for you?
The Ninja has been around for a number of years now, and it remains one of the most crazy fast and best looking bikes around. There are very few that can stand against the sheer power of this bad boy, and it will leave just about all of the competition in the dust. Most other Superbikes just will not be able to stand up against the power of the Ninja.
Because of this, I think that this bike would not be the best fit for an inexperienced rider. You need to be ready for this thing, because if you do not have a lot of experience with bikes, this thing will just run all over you. A lot of people just rush in and try to get the best, and fastest bike that they can find so that they can impress their lady friends, but this wouldn’t be the best option here. You might actually embarrass yourself.
But if you feel that you are very experienced with bikes, then the Ninja would certainly be a good option for you. It is certainly true to say that it is arguable one of the best, if not the best bike in the world today, and would be a find choice for your next bike.

2009 Suzuki Hayabusa

The Suzuki Hayabusa is a fast bike that looks sexy as anything, and you should know darn well that you would look real good rolling around on one of these babies. Is it the right bike for you, though? Well, let’s take a look at it and find out.
The Hayabusa is most noticed for it’s incredible speed capabilities, and is one of the most popular crotch rocket bikes in the world today.
The Hayabusa has six gears on it, but most of you will not go past the third gear as to avoid any complications with local law enforcement, as the third gear will easily have you doing 60mph with no problem.
As a crotch rocket, you are going to be sitting low to the ground, and most crotch rocket users love this. The Hayabusa sits a little bit lower to the ground than some of its competitors, and its bars are not quite as narrow.
A Hayabusa is translated from Japanese as a falcon that can travel over 200mph. The Suzuki Hayabusa can certainly live up to that standard with no problem at all.
So as you can see, the Hayabusa has a strong reputation and is probably a good fit for you if you are looking for a bike that will give you speed and good looks too. Just remember to take it easy in areas with heavy law enforcement, otherwise you will be stopped quicker than you can imagine. But when it comes time for serious speed, you will be able to leave most everyone else in a cloud of dust.
